WebApp Idea

So the idea I've come up with is a sort of nature helper that will encourage you to go outside. It'll track what wildlife you see and tell you where to see wildlife you haven't seen. It'll tell you of bush walks and tracks and nature related stuff that is in your area and tell you how to get to them. It could probably have some sort of facebook like social aspect. Possibly, because it's mobile it could use AR to show you how to find specific wildlife too.

Here are some brief notes I made when I was brainstorming:

- it knows where you are
- augments reality with the camera - maybe showing you information or building plans?
- snap a QR code for quick information
- microphone search

nature app
- recognises birdsong
- recognises insect sounds
- gps creatures in that area

So some notes to give an idea on what I'm aiming for:
-The audience would be nature enthusiasts or outdoorsy people.
-The app would use the microphone to analyse sounds and tell you what the animal or critter you were hearing outdoors was.
-It would use GPS and tell you what the known wildlife in vicinity are.
-Would tie in to an account which you could share photos with others who have the app, or with your linked friends (maybe facebook or have a separate friend system).
-Could possibly use the camera to show you what a certain animal would look like in place and to scale to help you find it in the wild (this would be like AR).
